Pathway lighting is a helpful addition to outdoor walkways that can help add both visual interest and safety to a space. These fixtures can help guide
guests to an entryway by highlighting the sides of the walk, and can help prevent injuries from people from stumbling in the dark. Path lighting is
typically placed at five to eight foot intervals along the edges of a walkway, frequently with an alternating placement of lights on the left and right
sides of the path. However, many prefer a symmetrical arrangement, and when it comes down to it lighting spacing and placement is usually quite subjective,
so use your best judgment and find a configuration that feels right to you.
When it comes to different styles of path lights, there is a huge range of over 400 different fixtures to choose from. These come in styles from craftsman
inspired fixtures to ultra-modern orb lights, and even themed fixtures that imitate vines or flowers. The style of light that you choose, should ideally
complement the style of any outdoor fixtures you may have, and blend in with any outdoor décor.

again when it gets light out. If you opt for LED lights, your pathway light fixtures will need to be hardwired, but they will still be very energy
efficient, and you can expect a very long bulb life, as many are rated for up to 25 times longer than typical incandescent bulb. LED bulbs are also fully
recyclable, so when it is time to change them out, they don’t have to end up in a landfill.
