The locking mechanism is distinct from a spring-bolt lock because a deadbolt cannot be moved to the open position except by rotating the lock cylinder. It can, therefore, make a door more resistant to entry without the correct key. This deadbolt is often used to complement a spring-bolt lock on an entry door to a building.
Choose between either a Double Cylinder, a Single Cylinder or an electronic deadbolt. A Double Cylinder is keyed on both the inside and outside, while a Single Cylinder is keyed on the outside but a thumb turn on the inside.
