This unit should be considered based on a 1" to 1 1/4" main water service line with hard water. Applicable for all homes, all families, greater water usage, up to multiple water heaters, pools, spas, specified correctly for greater filtration bed depth, needed conditioning capabilities on muncipal water or water of known quality based on the flow rate capabilities of a 1" to 1 1/4" main water line.
