Carl Yastrzemski made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox in 1961 and for the next 23 years he proudly wore his famous "#8" for the Sox. He had an extraordinary batting style and unmatched skill in patrolling the grounds in front of the Green Monster and during Boston's "Impossible Dream" season in 1967, he won the American League Triple Crown and was named the A.L.'s Most Valuable Player. "Yaz" was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
Using silver marker, Carl Yastrzemski and photographer Ken Regan have each hand signed this 16x20 photograph taken by Regan. Yastrzemski added the inscription "TC 67". A Steiner Sports certificate of authenticity is included.
