An authentic Ming dynasty design Oriental tea chest, crafted from fine quality kiln dried Rosewood, with floating panel construction to tolerate changes in seasonal humidity. The carved Shou medallions on the cabinet doors were thought to attract good influences, and encourage the long life of the owner. Designed to store tea in the top drawers, teapots and cups in the bottom, and for serving tea from the center. Beautiful hand carved geometric decoration on three sides of the center.
