I originally purchased one of these lights from another supplier - the cost was 55% higher. Found these on-line - they installed nicely, are holding up well in the tough New England weather and are showing no signs of discoloring, or, wear on the galvanized surfaces. They look rather nice, and present a different look than most others in this region. Be advised, they do have a very large diameter base, not a problem but they need a larger than normal mounting surface - made using them on posts a little tricky. I have two pole mounted, and an additional two mounted on the house - looking exactly like the photo (including the house color!) Last point, even with a 100 watt halogen bulb, they do not throw a lot of light unless mounted high on a porch - again, not a problem, but be aware.
I love these lights; they are reminiscent of the old farm house or cottage exterior wall sconces . I have fitted all six of mine with a 60 watt light bulb that has a silver coating on the lower one third of the bulb so that it shines up into the shade and casts indirect light on our porch and patio.

I absolutely love this light fixture! great style and quality. my husband quickly installed it for me, no problem. i bought it for our powder room over the vanity and it looks great! i've been inspired by many design photos using this type of fixutre in a bathroom. it looks best with a small clear 57W bulb with no markings.
