We are going to make these fixtures work as best we can as it's too much hassle to send them back and they are good-looking, functioning fixtures, but . . .
This light fixture is designed to be a typical install where you screw the mounting screws into the bracket and then put up the fixture over the screws (the screws go into the large side of the screw holes) and then twist the fixture and tighten the screws. The fixtures we received will not work that way. The heads of the screws are too large to fit through the large ends of the holes in the fixture, and they don't line up quite right with the holes in the mounting bracket. Further, the instructions show the mounting bracket mounted convex to the outlet box, which will not allow for a flush installation, which is necessary for applying silicone sealant for waterproofing. It seems like a careless machining job is to blame, but the box says they are die-cast, so this is likely a universal problem.
