Paper thin nickel veneer full of bubbles/ scratches
By jpib from Solana Beach on Jan 07, 2014
Designer
They are made and packaged full of problems: bubbling paper thin finish, dots and scratches, rough edges, etc. all very visible and unsightly.

Poor mounting feature
By Susan from central Virginia on Aug 24, 2012
Designer, Stylish
This good-looking knob comes with 2 spikes on the far corners of the mounting surface, presumably to help orient the placement of the drill hole. However, if the screw is placed through the hole in the cabinet door, and the knob is turned to screw it in place, the 2 spikes create a circular trough around the square base of the knob which leaves a groove showing on the cabinet door. I guess one should attempt to push the spikes into place and then use the screw to pull the knob towards the door to tighten it. However, if the knob is not sitting exactly as one would like it to be placed, it has to be turned, thus creating the "trenches" in the wood which show around the knob. If the design were going to be helpful, the 2 spikes should fall just outside of the central screw hole, and not on the far corners. I am removing these knobs, dapping the holes, sanding and repainting, and ordering other knobs.
