Knob shown in photo looks like a real shell, with softened, worn looking and broken lines of the swirl, and a flat round center. Color is like old pewter. Actual knobs are shiny aluminum color. There are sharply cut short lines all along a solid line swirl, more like a sundial than a shell. The center is pointy and looks like a nipple. Actual knob looks really cheap. I am returning the knobs. They are not what is represented in the manufacturer's photo.
