These are substantial knobs. Very heavy and the visually weighted base adds to their balanced proportions versus most knobs which end in a small round foot. Bonus also is that the base will physically cover any previous holes or marks. I had trouble deciding between the nickel and stainless steel finish, but ended up going with the SS. So glad I did. I had bought one nickel finished knob locally. The SS is more true to a clean, true silver color, whereas the nickel finish has a slight yellow cast to it. Keep in mind that if you have pre-drilled holes, because of the width of these knobs, they may end up being too close together or even touch on a set of doors and you may need the smaller scale for this reason.

These knobs are an excellent value - as well made, heavy, and stylish as much more expensive knobs. I was very surprised and pleased at how good they look, and what a difference they made in my kitchen!
I recently replaced all my kitchen hardware. I purchased locally and had mis-counted, I was two knobs short. I retuned to the store and they discontinued the item. I then looked at your web site, using your friendly search, I then, within minutes, found and ordered what I needed. Thanks, great service.
The bolts enclosed are not long enough for a drawer front. Had to run to the hardware store and buy bolts that were 3/4 in. longer to accomodate. The finish was just as pictured and was a match for our other satin nickel fixtures.
