This toilet seat is really quiet. I have 3 boys and there's no more slamming! However the fit is not as nice as I would have liked. It's almost as though it's a half inch too small or that the adjustable fixtures are just a bit not long enough to allow the seat to reach the edge of the bowl.

I just ordered this toilet seat. While it is plastic, the soft close feature is AWESOME and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for that feature (I always close the toilet seat because of my cats). My boyfriend assembled it so I rated the instructions and assembly an excellent rating even though he probably did not use the instructions.

The product is excellent in design and use. Determining the exact blue color was difficult from the website. One mistake was made and a re-order and return necessitated. Would recommend this product.
