Entryway Furniture
Coat Racks
When choosing a coat rack for your entryway you must make the decision to use a wall-mounted rack or a standing rack. This will largely be determined by the space with which you have to work, with wall-mounted options being excellent for situations with limited floor space and standing options working well when you need to store a large number of coats.
Entryway Benches
An entryway bench can be merely a place to sit and take off or put on your shoes, but sometimes it's an all-in-one entryway solution. Modern entryway benches might incorporate coat hooks, umbrella stands or a hidden storage trunk for extra coats, shoes or anything else you might need to keep by the door.
Entry Tables
The first thing you're going to interact with when you get home is your entry table, whether it's to drop off your keys, put down your purse, tuck your shoes underneath or lean your umbrella up against the side. Be sure that your entry table has everything you need to set down the burden of your day, be that miscellaneous item drawers, lower shelving for shoes and boots or simply a broad and spacious top with plenty of room.
Pedestals
Useful for displaying your plants, objects d'art, figurines or a glass fish bowl, a pedestal is the classical way to accent a room. There are a dozen different styles and sizes so you can buy with an eye to matching the pedestal to your décor.
Umbrella Stands
If you live where rain is a virtual certainty then you've dealt with umbrella puddles on the floor and umbrellas you can't find when you need them. Solving both of these problems in one fell swoop is easy with an umbrella stand. And if you like you can even find umbrella stands that incorporate a coat rack, furthering the utility of these pieces.
