?
What does it mean "filter Faucet"?
ATG Answer
For this item, the term filter faucet is another way to say a drinking water faucet. It would have to be plumbed into an existing filtering system.

Excellent value, rugged construction
By J D S. from Portland, OR on Aug 16, 2010
Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
This water filter faucet is very nicely constructed and replaced a half-plastic piece of junk that came with my dual-cartridge Sears water filter. The good news is that it should install nicely and with a minimum of hassle if you have a 1/4-inch outside diameter feed tube, although most professional plumbers would tell you to replace the plastic compression washer with a brass one (easily found at almost any complete hardware store or home renovation outlet.) The bad news for me is that my existing water filter employs 3/8-inch OD tubing. So getting it all patched together took a few steps on my part. Any pro plumber would have knocked out this connection in no time, so that's partly due to my amateur status. At any rate, it's now snugly installed, correctly hooked up, and works great. The all-metal body and control are really a substantial upgrade at a very reasonable price. The clean, modern look complements that of my kitchen, but is classic enough to work in many environments. The height of the tube and the distance from the controls is ideal for my sink, allowing pots to fit underneath for easy filling.

Nice faucet
By Pauline E B. from Salem, OR on Apr 09, 2010
Practical
Looks good, installed easily, and works well. There's a nice solid, smooth feel to the lever. Six months isn't all that long to rate something like a faucet. I hope to like it as well after 6 or 16 years. But the early indications are positive!

Water faucet
By Melanie K. from Santa Rosa, CA on Jul 22, 2014
It looks like a great product that's why I bought it. I couldn't find a similar faucet in brushed nickel - only a very small selection in chrome was available locally. I haven't used it yet - my kitchen will be redone within the next month! Yes, I recommend this faucet!

Faucet is a HIT!!! Use ICE MAKER HOSE to screw to base of faucet!!!
By Monica Lea P. from Belgrade, MT on May 20, 2014
Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
I received the Kingston Brass KS819 Concord Water Filter Faucet and I LOVE it for the cold water, drinking water, (Montana well water) that is right next to the Hansgrohe Kitchen Sink faucet !!! (I did NOT use this faucet for the under cabinet FILTERING SYSTEM that this faucet was originally intended for!!!!) Instead I did a DIRECT CONNECTION from the COLD WATER VALVE under the sink, DIRECTLY to this Faucet. When I called and asked if I could DIRECTLY connect this faucet to a cold water supply valve that is under the kitchen sink, rather than run it through a WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM, like it was intended for, the representatives were uncertain if I would be able to do so.....So I took the chance and ordered the faucet anyway, since I wanted to use it for the drinking water faucet at our kitchen sink. Once the faucet arrived, I simple connected a five foot 1/4" supply line that a person generally uses for the connection to the REFRIGERATOR so that the REFRIGERATOR makes ICE!!! So a simple ICE MAKER CONNECTION hose that people generally use for the water supply line for an ICE MAKER on a refrigerator, DIRECTLY CONNECTS to the threaded, screw base of this faucet. Therefore, all I had to do was purchase that five foot ICE MAKER CONNECTION hose for $8.98, and screw it to the base of the faucet, and then get a 1/4" VALVE that fit the other end to use under my kitchen sink. No additional fittings were required, because BOTH ends of this ICE MAKER HOSE fit each 1/4" end of the faucet or the cold water supply valve!! Mission Accomplished!!!! This faucet matches the Satin Nickel finish of our Hansgrohe Kitchen faucet, so these two faucets, mounted beside one another at the kitchen sink, look like a PERFECT match in color, style and finish....I could not be more pleased!!!! I am a female, and I figured out the ICE MAKER HOSE worked perfectly for the screw base of this faucet.....I was quite please with myself that I figured that out FAST!!!!! I am not a "handy person".....I just got lucky!!!! But I am sharing my LUCK with you!!!!!
