This door hardware is great for the price. The only thins about is that it is black. I had thought a "dark bronze" would not be black. Still a very nice product. Well made. Looks great.Read More

ATG Stores is the best place to shop for Continental Hardware Manufacturing products
Continental's founder brings over 30 years of successful hands-on experience to the design, engineering and manufacture of this fine new line of heavy cast brass locks. Value driven pricing beats the competition in an easy-to-install secure lock with a range of styles and fine finishes that endure over time. A full range of tubular locks satisfy most building needs for deadbolt and deadbolt combo, thumbgrip entry, multipoint entry, passage and privacy functions. An easy, secure install is guaranteed by use of an interior, full metal stabilizing cage usually found in commercial locking devices. Thru-the-bore bolting from the interior side of the lock into the cage aligns the tubular latch with the exterior mounted plates (see ‘simple assembly' tab at left). Any trim-shift or loosening is eliminated with use of this technique. Exterior side of lock has no screw heads showing in most cases. Levers and knobs are secured to the plates using a positive clip. Therefore, no set screws are used anywhere in the Continental line that can loosen over time. Results: a visually appealing lock with robust performance characteristics. Only heavy duty latches with floating faceplate for positive alignment of trim, spindle, and latch hub are used in the Continental line. These European-built-to US-standards latches have identical characteristics to the finest latch used in the decorative lock market.
