This feature allows you to select products by thread count.
Thread count is a measure of the coarseness or fineness of fabric. Thread count refers to the number of threads, both vertical and horizontal, in a one-inch square of fabric. Thread count is affected by a number of factors, including ply and thickness of the threads used. The ply of the fabric refers to how many threads are wrapped together into a single thread. Single-ply fabrics use threads on their own, while two-ply fabrics twist two pieces together into a stronger thread, as well as doubling the thread count of the fabric.
A pillow sham is very similar to a pillowcase, but instead of having an open end to insert the pillow, a sham features an opening on its back. This allows the sham to have a clean and uniform appearance on the front and feature a border all the way around. Shams are also much more for decorative purposes than their pillowcase counterparts, and can feature decorative elements that add texture, volume, and visual interest to your bedding ensemble. Browse our large selection of pillow shams to find the perfect pattern, print, or design to complete your bedding set.
