ATG Affiliates must comply with the following Guidelines.
Program Goals
The primary purpose of the ATG Stores Affiliate Program is to expose our brand to as many people and bring new customers to our stores. We are excited to also help bloggers, web site owners, and other content providers to monetize their traffic by providing a generous commission on sales to customers that started on their sites. However, we are not willing to pay for sales from sites that seek to profit by offering coupons or rebates to customers we have already earned.
Product Pricing Information
Affiliates may not include price information in product descriptions or any other form of display, advertisement, or promotion of the ATG Products.
Labeling Ads
Affiliates may not label ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements". Affiliates may not include any text above, beneath, or around the ad that could cause consumer confusion as to the source of the ad.
Independence from ATG.com
In all advertising and promotion Affiliates must clearly represent themselves and their sites as entities independent from ATG and the ATG stores.
ATG.com Look and Feel
Affiliates web sites may not in any way copy or resemble the "look and feel" of the ATG store sites or the ATG corporate site, nor shall any Affiliate create the impression that the Affiliate site is an ATG store or is a part of ATG. Affiliate sites shall not contain any content of the ATG stores or other proprietary materials of ATG unless provided to the Affiliate by ATG.
Prohibited Software
Affiliates may not use any software to advertise, market or promote the ATG Affiliate Program, ATG Products, if the software does any of the following:
- Displays pop-up or pop-under advertisements using ATG advertising banners
- Markets to children under the age of 13
- Sends unsolicited information or material to another computer
- Diverts the user to another site not requested by the user as a result of clicking on ATG advertising banners
- Modifies the user's settings with respect to browser home page, Internet connections (including default access provider), bookmarks, ATG tracking cookies, or the user's security levels
- Removes or disables security, pop-up-blocking, anti-virus, anti-Adware, or anti-spyware programs on the user's computer.
Trademarks
You may not alter, modify, amend, or change in any way Trademarks owned by Allied Trade Group, Inc. You may only use the Marks authorized by ATG to the extent that the Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions agreement remains in full force and effect.
Email
Affiliates must comply with the requirements of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 as amended and any other applicable laws governing email communications or downloadable software applications. For information on compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 please visit the Federal Trade Commission website at http://www.ftc.gov/spam/
Affiliates must include ATG in its distribution of email messages to visitors when ATG advertising banners are used to promote ATG stores. All email messages must be sent to affiliates@alliedtradegroup.com.
Questionable Material and Prohibited Content
All content provided by ATG and used by its Affiliates in connection with the ATG Affiliate Program in the promotion of ATG stores must comply with the Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions agreement. The following are some general guidelines to help you determine what ATG considers to be questionable material and prohibited site content.
- Content that may infringe on the right of a third party.
- Use of Marks that signify hate towards another person, group or people.
- Hate and/or racist terms.
- Inappropriate content or nudity that is not artistic in nature.
- Content that exploits images or the likeness of minors.
- Obscene or vulgar comments and offensive remarks that harass, threaten, defame or abuse others.
- Content that depicts violence, is obscene, abusive, fraudulent, or threatening.
- Content that glamorized or endorses the use of illegal natural or chemical substances, or drugs.
- Material that is generally offensive or in bad taste, as determined by Allied Trade Group.
ATG determines, in its sole discretion, whether site content is in compliance with these guidelines. The list outlined above should not be construed as the complete and exhaustive list of questionable material or prohibited site content but rather a general guideline to be followed.
URLs, Keywords, Search Terms, and other Identifiers
Affiliates may not use uniform resource locators (URLs), domain names or other identifiers of the Affiliate's site or pages that contain any ATG trademark or any derivative thereof. The ATG trademarks and derivative include without limitation "Allied Trade Group, AlliedTradeGroup.com, ATG, Lighting Universe, LightingUniverse.com, The Professional's Lighting Store, Illuminews, Fixture Universe, FixtureUniverse.com, The Professional's Fixture Store, Innovate Your Space, reFresh, Knobs and Hardware, KnobsandHardware.com, Grab-It, Floors and Surfaces, FloorsandSurfaces.com, For Every Step of Life, Threads, Decor Universe, DecorUniverse.com, Cascadia Lighting".
Affiliates may not purchase or otherwise contract with third parties to exploit any ATG trademark or derivative thereof for the purpose of causing the Affiliate site to appear as a search result or for any other reason. Affiliates may not purchase or register in any search, referral, or advertising service (such as Google's AdWords program) any of the ATG trademarks or derivatives thereof. Affiliates may not purchase, register, or bid any keywords, search terms or other identifiers that include the ATG trademark or derivative thereof or any other trademark or service mark of ATG, for use in any search engine, portal, sponsored advertising service or other search or referral service.
Responsibility for Affiliate Sites
Affiliates will be solely responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of Affiliate web sites and for all materials that appear on Affiliate web sites. For example, Affiliates will be solely responsible for:
- The technical operation of the web site and all related equipment
- The accuracy and appropriateness of materials posted on you site
- Ensuring that materials posted on your site comply with the programs Questionable Material and Prohibited Content guidelines.
- Ensuring that materials posted on your site are not libelous or otherwise illegal
- Ensuring that your site accurately and adequately discloses, either through a privacy policy or otherwise, how the Affiliate collects, uses, stores, and discloses data collected from visitors, including, where applicable, that third parties (including advertisers) may serve content and/or advertisements and collect information directly from visitors and may place or recognize cookies on visitors' browsers

- Start at 3% so that any sales up to $2,500 earns you 3% on all your sales
- If you sell $2,501 or more then you earn 4% on all your sales
- If you sell $5,001 or more you then you earn 5% on all your sales
- If you sell $10,001 or more you then you earn 6% on all your sales
- If you sell $20,001 or more you then you earn 7% on all your sales
- If you sell $50,001 or more you then you earn 8% on all your sales
*Watch for monthly bonus promotions that can earn you even more.
Product Sale Commission
ATG will pay a commission for each sale of qualified products if the sale originated from the Affiliate's site link, in accordance with the Affiliate Agreement, and within the 60 day lifespan of the tracking cookie placed on the visitor's browser.
*Affiliates are not eligible to earn a commission on the sale of products or services offered by or provided to customers through ATG's 2nd party business partners.
Commission Determination/Qualifying Sale
Only ATG products that are (1) sold by ATG stores, (2) purchased by customers arriving at our stores from a link on an approved Affiliate site, (3) shipped and/or supplied through ATG, and (4) fully paid for will qualify for a commission (each a "Qualifying Sale").
Withholding Commissions /Disqualifying Sale
ATG, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to withhold indefinitely, deduct, or reject any affiliate commission for any (1) canceled sale, (2) return of qualifying product(s), (3) completed sale placed by an affiliate through the affiliates own link(s) or site, and (4) completed sale placed by existing ATG customers (each a "Disqualifying Sale").
Payment of Commission
Affiliates who have accrued earned commission of $25.00 or more will be sent a commission dispersement check on a monthly basis. Commission dispersements cannot be electronically deposited into the affiliate's bank account from ATG.
Definitions
"Qualified Products" means those items held out for sale on ATG stores for which and earned commission may be earned. All items held out for sale on ATG stores are Qualified Products unless ATG indicates otherwise.
"Net Sales" the selling price for Qualified Products sold on ATG stores, less shipping, handling, taxes, processing fees, returns, and bad debt.
